The On-Grid Solar System: A Smart, Eco-Friendly Power Solution

The on-grid solar system is a cutting-edge technology that directly connects to your electricity meter, offering a reliable alternative energy source. This system not only helps reduce your electricity bills but also cuts down on overall energy costs by powering your appliances with solar energy. It’s the most popular type of rooftop solar system worldwide, known for its efficiency and ease of use. Ganit Solar offers the best on-grid solar solutions, providing energy savings during the day while syncing seamlessly with the grid. Their plug-and-play power plants are designed for ultimate convenience—noise-free, smoke-free, and pollution-free, making them an eco-friendly choice for sustainable living.

How Does the On-Grid Solar System Work?

An on-grid solar system is designed to connect directly to the utility grid. The solar panels generate electricity, which is fed into the grid and used to power your daily appliances. It’s a low-maintenance, hassle-free solution that seamlessly integrates into your existing energy setup. The system uses a net meter, also known as a bi-directional meter, to track the amount of energy sent to the grid and the amount of energy consumed. At the end of the month, any unpaid balance is noted, and your electricity bill is adjusted accordingly. This allows you to enjoy the benefits of solar energy while staying connected to the grid for additional support when needed.

Application

Solar semi-integrated street lights are ideal for streets, pathways, parks, parking lots, rural roads, and other public spaces where cost-effective, sustainable lighting solutions are needed.

Solar Semi Integrated Street Light

Solar Semi Integrated Street Light

A solar semi-integrated street light is an energy-efficient, eco-friendly outdoor lighting system that harnesses solar energy to provide illumination. Here's a breakdown of its components and how it works:
Key Features:
  • Semi-Integrated Design: In a semi-integrated solar street light, the solar panel works independently from the light fixture, while the battery and controller are seamlessly housed within the light. This clever design not only simplifies installation and maintenance but also offers greater adaptability than fully integrated models. The adjustable solar panel can be positioned to soak up the maximum sunlight, giving you the freedom to place the light where it's needed most without compromising on energy efficiency.
  • Solar Panel: The solar panel converts sunlight into electricity during the day. This energy is stored in a battery for use at night. Typically, these panels are mounted on top of the streetlight pole, absorbing solar energy efficiently.
  • Battery and Controller: The heart of the system lies in the battery, typically lithium-ion or lead-acid, snugly housed within the light fixture. By day, it quietly stores the energy captured by the solar panel, ready to power the light when night falls. At the helm is the controller, orchestrating the entire energy flow. It ensures the battery charges efficiently under the sun’s rays while safeguarding it from overcharging or draining too much power, keeping the system running smoothly and reliably.
  • LED Light: Semi-integrated solar street lights shine bright with the power of energy-efficient LED lamps. These LEDs deliver brilliant illumination while sipping minimal energy, ensuring the battery lasts longer and the system operates smoothly. As day turns to night, the LEDs spring to life automatically, sensing the fading ambient light at dusk and switching off again when dawn breaks, providing effortless, eco-friendly lighting from sunset to sunrise.
  • Pole and Mounting: The pole can vary in height based on the application (roads, parks, residential areas). The solar panel is usually attached to the top or side of the pole, with the light fixture placed below it.
